A workshop that will spend significant time exploring mindfulness and practical ways to implement mindfulness in the everyday life. We will start the day with an intention and a talk, followed by a meditation and discussion around the effects and health benefits that mindfulness has.
We will conclude the workshop with as embodied movement class. This class is intended for yogis, dancers and non-dancers. The class combines mindfulness, movement and meditation to achieve consciousness, self-expression, increased energy and balance. Combining light stretching, authentic movement and intentional moving meditation, the workshop will explore fluid and grounded movements while focusing on breath, posture alignment, creativity and embodiment.
This class will combine the calming aspects of mindfulness and meditation with the freedom of movement to achieve consciousness, self expression, increased energy and overall balance of mind and body.
